Cookie Policy

Every cookie and browser store Pixirain uses, what it is for, and how to change your choice.

Last updated 14 August 2026

1. What we store in your browser

Pixirain stores a small number of things in your browser. Most of them are not cookies in the technical sense — the cart and your consent choice live in local storage — but they are all listed here because the distinction does not matter to you.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not embed third-party trackers.

2. Strictly necessary

These are set without asking, because the site cannot work without them. They are exempt from consent for that reason.

  • Session cookie (next-auth.session-token, or __Secure-next-auth.session-token over HTTPS) — keeps you signed in. HttpOnly, so scripts cannot read it. Expires after 7 days, or immediately when you sign out, change your password, or change your sign-in email.
  • CSRF token (next-auth.csrf-token) — proves a sign-in request came from our own pages.
  • Callback URL (next-auth.callback-url) — remembers where to send you after signing in.
  • Cart (browser local storage) — keeps items in your cart across a refresh. It never leaves your device until you check out.
  • Consent choice (browser local storage) — records what you chose in the cookie banner, so we stop asking.

3. Optional

Nothing in this category is switched on unless you accept it in the banner, and you can change your mind at any time from the same banner or from Settings.

  • Product analytics — anonymous, aggregated measurements of which pages and flows are used, so we can find the ones that are broken. No analytics provider is currently connected; if one is added, this list is updated before it is enabled and your existing choice still applies.

4. Third parties that may set cookies

Two services can set their own cookies while you are using Pixirain, and only during specific actions:

  • Razorpay — when the payment window opens. These are required for payment and fraud checks and are governed by Razorpay's own policies.
  • Google — only if you choose "Continue with Google", and only during that sign-in.

We do not control these and cannot switch them off on your behalf; declining them means not using that payment method or that sign-in option.

5. Changing your mind

Reopen the cookie banner from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer at any time. Clearing site data in your browser removes everything listed above, which also signs you out and empties your cart.

Blocking the strictly necessary items in your browser settings will stop sign-in and checkout from working.
